Re-discovering the Power of Music through My November Playlist

Goodness, I’d forgotten how healing it is to simply listen to music.

Music is a powerful form of expression that uplifts our spirits, soothes our minds, and heals our hearts in ways we didn’t know was possible. In the midst of our busy lives, taking the time to simply listen to music can be a wonderful reminder of its magic. With that in mind, I curated a playlist for November that captures the essence of this month. It’s that long inhale before the madness. The gentle hush before the epiphany.

The playlist is a collection of songs that evoke a range of emotions. There’s joy and excitement in Norah Jone’s husky tone as she welcomes the “Sunrise”. There’s nostalgia and introspection in Lily Meola’s “Daydream” as she reminds us of how brave we were before our our comfort zones outgrew our dreams. The familiar melodies and rhythms will transport you to different places and eras, allowing you to escape the stresses and worries of everyday life. I think you’ll find some form of therapy as well in Erik Satie’s “Gymnopédie No. 1”. So, feel free to click play, and let the music guide you on a journey of slowing down in the fast lane.

If you have any recommendations to the add the playlist, drop a comment. I’d love to hear it.

Dance over, darling. Don’t walk.

When she’s not in the air or attending classes,
Fehi is trying to run 5k on an on-&-off basis. Apparently, it’s a lot of fun.
